While I love sharing my home and my passion for design, I also love sharing things I just can’t go without. This is definitely one of those things!

I am obsessed with this super simple, dreamy feeling, all natural, skincare that has my skin so happy these days. This takes about 5 minutes to make and will last you forever!

The best part of making your own skincare is that you can customize it from start to finish, based on your own skin’s needs. This serum can be made so many different ways. Here’s a guide to get started:

What You’ll Need:

dropper bottle

20+ drops of essential oil(s)

carrier oil *jojoba is my favorite because it doesn’t clog your pores

witch hazel *optional

Which Oils to Use:

*I have one (not so) secret ingredient that I’ve recently added that has been a life changer! Read below to find out what it is.

Try This:

Start with 10 drops lavender and 10 drops frankincense. This is such a great place to start because it’s great for any skin type. From that simple base, you can add other oils to tailor your glow serum to whatever your skin is needing.

How to make DIY Blue Tansy Essential Oil Glow Serum

Here is my all time favorite recipe:

20 Sacred Frankincense

15 Copaiba

10 Blue Tansy

10 Geranium

10 Tea Tree

*1 dropper of CBD

Then add a splash of witch hazel and top with jojoba oil. You will be amazed how good your skin will look and feel!

You can apply this serum alone, followed by moisturizer or add drops directly to your moisturizer. I find that 4-5 drops is the perfect amount for my skin. Start there and see how it suits you.

The (Not So) Secret Ingredient

Have you tried CBD? I have been using a CBD tincture internally for over a year now and it has helped me so much in many different ways. Then I started using it in my skincare and saw such amazing benefits, I had to share it!

Here’s a little rundown…CBD is a known anti-inflammatory and has no side effects like steroid based products do that are usually prescribed for skin inflammation. It provides the skin with antioxidants to prevent damage from free radicals. Free radical damage can also prevent collagen production in skin as well.

This is my favorite CBD: Quiet Trees.

If you would rather have an easy button and purchase a pre-made CBD Beauty Serum, here is the holy grail CBD Beauty Boost.

What are you using and loving? Let me know if you try this!

Best,
